How in heck do you post a picture on this site?

hello hiwide15 ,when the text box is open there is another box below the smiley faces - Additional Options - Attachments Upload Photos:


Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip
.let us know if your still having trouble

When I select file and upload .
Then get message that it failed as follows

20131204-170011.jpg:upload of file failed.
Please let know what to do. Ron

hello ,the picture size is to big to upload in the time = 20131204-170011.jpg:upload of file failed ? = you will need to resize the picture to upload them ,bruce oz

If you uses a photo hosting site like Photobucket ,it resizes them for you .Join photobucket {its Free } ,Upload photos to it from your computer .Then use the Direct link code . In the icons at the top of the page click on the 6th icon frpom the right in the second row ,Click on "from URL ". Paste the code in the box and click on OK . You can click on Preview post to check the photo worked OK . The hit the post button and there should be your Photo ..[attachment=20762]2013-12-07091718_zps66a131e0.jpg[/attachment]

If the picture is to big why did it post the first picture I tried and not any more.
These were taken with smart phone and then I tried from phone to post.why not be able to post same size as stored seems dumb to me.

Also , When you put the code in the box , Under it is a little box with a tick in it .Click on the tick to remove it , and get the photo like this .

offtopic, but 2 nice founds there : 2 graders is it a Massey Harris and a Allis Chalmers conversion?

Ron,
if you still have the pictures on the phone, you might have the option to send a small/medium/large picture - if so, you can either post directly from your phone or you can email them to yourself at the small or medium size (e.g. 70KšŸ˜Ž and then post them from your pc. I'm not familiar with other phones but my iPhone lets me choose the size of snap to upload/send. If you're in a real bind, just email them to me and I'll post them for you.

By the way, did you end up determining whether you had a good 3J/5J D3400 main cylinder head? I've been considering my options and it looks it's not going to be much more for me to put up to all eight new valve seats in mine (vs. finding one that is in known good condition and is going for 150 clams local.....)
