I am sad to report the passing of Ben McRay in June 2021. Ben was founder and first president of Chapter 17. Go to Chapter reports on this forum for a story of Ben, pictures and obituary. Our deepest sympathy to his wife, Shirley and family.

Wow, so sad to hear that. I got to meet him several times, whether it be at a show or a chapter meeting. Such a personable gentleman. He was one of the "good" guys that make this hobby a lot of fun. The sharing of tales, his passion for restoration, just happy being himself. He was very encouraging and made me appreciate a lot of things. RIP Mr. McRay. JM.
