One cylinder cat engine manuals needed

I'm trying to help my friend locate a parts and service manual for his one cylinder cat engine, a 1Y540 model, ser.#S76700135.

I've searched to no avail and have also called the cat literature info line. The Cat computer doesn't seem to recognize these #'s. I don't see how Cat has no knowledge of what it has made. Does someone out there have someone on the inside that can help? Phil😊

I have seen some of those special engines Cat made up and the ones I saw were Cat test engines for oil I believe it was.The ones I saw were at a couple tractor and equip. shows, one in Ohio and they were a regular engine that was cut away with just one cyl. or two if I remember right and one I recall was an old D17000 V8 engine with just one cyl. on each bank.If this is one of the engines you have then they wouldn,t be a production engine.

I just found a few min ago this: Try entering 1Y-540 into Cat parts site. Hope u have luck
