Hi folks,
I was having some issues with my d2 again. pony motor.
wanted to re-evaluate the work, and skinned knuckles, on Old Magnets information on d2 conversion to direct start.

Cant hook up to the link, sends me to image shack. I signed in and nothing there.
is there another link ? I don't see any pictures here anymore on this web site. maybe moved ?
image shack appears to be for myself uploading pic's to it, but cant see anyone else's.

spring time again, and this is what I get for letting the dozer sit uncovered for that last year + or so in a couple feet of snow & Rain,
pipes were covered, did start and run for a bit, now nothing.

so time to re-think direct electric conversion again. 😊
can someone direct me ? did a search on the web to, couldn't find anything.
thx

Try here.... info is still good for the D2 conversion. Sources for parts have changed. Come back when you are ready.

Ok thx.
I did get it printed a big thank you.

The other question is, has anyone done this without pulling the engine.
doing it on the tractor as it sits, with a nice hole saw or hole hog, plunging main hole ?

thanks much

Scott in WA, I have done the procedure without tractor disassembly - as have others. You can search through my posts and see specifically which tools I used to accomplish this. Others here scoffed at my methods but you can decide on what suits you.
