South east ia craigslist has a small henry scraper for sale(farm n garden) 550 bucks.model g 1.hyd and looks good.it would be nice paired with a d2 cat. I use a one yard hyd scraper with my 22.

Sure that's not a hydraulic snow shovel? says use Mobil Oil Artic Special 10W oil.

Sure that's not a hydraulic snow shovel? says use Mobil Oil Artic Special 10W oil.
I have one, nice unit but not too much for spreading because they just dump everything to the rear. It is nice to only need one hyd spool. They are a little narrow, and the draft arms & structure is a little weak in the design, but maybe they get hooked up with more horse power than designed for. I had to completely remanufacture the draw parts and so used the same size channel with an increase in weight per ft. I still need to complete the side panels & paint. Hope to be ready for the national show.

looks like a scaled down Laplante Choate carrymore scraper. i say buy it you will love it. i have a murray copy of a letourneau

Also, they are very tongue heavy and a real cast iron B to hitch by yourself. Thinking of adding a swivel jack on it.

I think they're just recommending that because it's a really thin oil. Probably made way before tractor hydraulic oil was available everywhere for cheap.
