I spent all day Friday at the show and had an amazing time. I had been to the show before in 2001 at this same location and I would guess there were twice as many caterpillars this year as compared to the prior show. I met a lot of folks from the BB and I also ran into many friends from over the years.

For those of you that watched tractor parade, I had the pleasure of bring the entire parade to a hault when the High Clearance Ten I was running (owned by Jason Payne) ran out of gas!!!!

All of the machines were lined up for the parade and it had taken about an hour to get up the the announcer and all of the fans in the grandstands. I kid you not, the machine ran out of gas just as it was my turn to pull up and be announced by the announcer!

I was hoping it was a vapor lock problem so I undid the gas cap and tried to start the machine. It started! But it only ran a few moments until it died. I tried again with no luck!

Jason was wondering what in the hell was going on with the parade when the loudspeakers had gone silent and no machines were exiting the parade route. He then realized it was me with his high ten that had stopped the parade! Jason quickly came over with some gas and got things moving again! Thanks again jason for letting me drive your high ten- I had a blast!!!

Matt,it's always a pleasure to see you and to just shoot the breeze.Glad to hear that you have some work to keep you busy.Didn't get to see and meet Jason Payne kept looking around his tractors for him.I would have like to put a face with the name and voice, maybe next time.I likes the pic you posted of that crane. What was that owner thinking.I hope his insurance company doesn't ask to many questions, they may not cover it.Talk to you soon.Mike

Mike-
Nice seeing you too. Jason and I were talking to a fellow who has a high ten (he does not use a computer) It's serial number is 4015 I think, and he is from Ohio. I didn't get the guys name.

Mike I looked around for you but no luck. I wish I could get you and Matt to bring out a few machines for our show this september😊

For the high ten it runs great but yes it does need gas😮 All three of the tens ran good but they do not like to be on the trailer for that long of a trip does anyone else find that with there machines?
