Thought I'd share our latest find with you all. The Forty Diesel, 3G318 was found in the middle of Illinois nestled in a machine shed. In 1991, the owner had backed her in a shed, put on a fresh coat of paint, then died within a year. So there the old girl sat until yesterday.
The tractor appears to be pretty complete and in good shape. Undercarriage is good, both engines are free, feel like good compression, and the tin is pretty good.
The main clutch is working, but a rough pull and does not go over center. Right steering clutch appears to be stuck, left feels like it's working. The pony mag has some sort of issue, since they had an external coil wired up. The throttle control lever is stuck somewhere along the line or we would have tried to pull-start.

Any ideas on how to free up the clutches?
The Laplant-Choate Blade brackets will be coming off. Anyone want a blade and brackets? The blade is not pretty and missing the center cutting edge, but mostly complete.
Thanks,
Sam
