Hi,
I need to change out the final drive shaft and drive sprocket on my D2 5U No 4311. I only have a 4U parts book though. Can someone help me out with the 5U shaft No seeing that it longer than the 4U one
I have sourced a spare one but need to make sure that I am getting the right part. Would i be right to assume that the LHS final drive cover is the same as on the RHS?
Thanks.

Mr. Palmer, From my D2 5U book your Pinion shaft is 2F1775 with a 5F4904 Spacer between the 2 bearings 3B8844 (roller) and 3B8860 (race), sprocket shaft is 2F6652, final drive covers are both 4F6160, sprockets are 8B6527.
Hope that helps

Thanks Mike.
I haven't heard from you in a while and was wondering if you had changed brands.
Thanks for the part No's. The sprocket shaft No was the one I needed most.
PS do you have any photos of the Echuca steam rally and after party that may be presentable enough to share?
Cheers.

Still here Geoff and still playing only with old Cats, I had the only Cats at the Echuca Steam Rally so I might get my butt chewed for going off topic and showing other brands of tractors, the get together was good fun, had Eddie and BruceOz come and visit and made good progress on my pilot motors, Eddie is returning next week so we can finish them off.
Regards
Mike
