Just got my gauges back from the gauge shop, here are some pictures of them. The pictures are not the greatest. The gauges were all basically junk except for the amp gauge. 👍

"Bob's Speedometer Service" in Howell, Michigan is who done the work for me, they have been in buisness since 1929, Bruce is they guy I dealt with. Here is the link to thier web site: http://www.bobsspeedometer.com/1/120/index.asp , The price averaged out to be $416.25 per gauge, the temp gauge was the most because it takes such a long capillary tube for the grader application. The gauges I sent him were basically junk with the exception of the amp gauge. The gauges got all new glass, faces, and paint, plus what ever mechanical work was needed to make them work like new. 3 of the gauges had the beveled glass edges. I am very happy with the work done and think the cost was well worth it and will put a real nice finnishing touch on my 12 grader when I get her done. :hat:

Thanks for sharing those photo's, they sure do look nice. Are they hand painted or a stick on plastic, as I've heard there are 2 ways to do those faces, one "affordable" to bottom feeders like me and a photocopy of the original with touch up work on the computer obviously, and the other one hand painted by a true artist, and "mucho dinero" !
regards
Mike

This guy uses the process of silk screening to redo the faces, no computer generated faces here.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
