I'm not familiar with the design of this model but those front axles seem to be a retrofit to get the pan to take a bigger bite. I think they are set quite low and wonder if you operated in rough ground, the drawbar might start to bottom out.

I am just a dumb farmer not a big time dirt mover, but those wheels look way to light to haul 7 yards of dirt to me.So do some measuring of the box and see how much the seller knows what he has.As for the welds anything can be broke but my guess is it was designed for a wheel tractor not a Cat.If you are a very careful operator it may get a small job done for you,but not years of trouble free us.

this seems to still be in production .. or at least for sale new from the mfg. but I think all of you have convinced me that this is more trouble than it's worth I didn't like the low hitch or small tires either. I also think it has been pulled very hard , I could see a 300 -400 horse wheel tractor dragging this around , perhaps thats why all the welds?
anyway thanks!
I think ill pass on this one..

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
