Well about a month ago I finally started back on the old traxcavator project. The steering clutches had to be pulled because the one sides drum had exploded and the other side was stuck. After rebuilding the clutches i installed them and put the rear cover back on and was able to take the tractor for a lap around the barn. It had a bad hiss in one of the exhaust seats so i pulled the head and it is now at the machine shop so here are some pictures of the project. The hub of the clutch of the traxcavator winch also needed to be machined and a new plate welded on because it had shattered the same way as the one steering clutch aparently from water freezing in it.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
