The original cat yellow was changed years ago when lead base paint was discontinued. Is there a paint source thats close to the orininal.?

Hi, JohnCrandall.

Rustoleum make a product that they call "Old Caterpillar Yellow". I think they do it in both spray cans and bulk. Hope this helps.

yes all paint manufactures have it. in their industrial enamels range. old cat yellow. some also have it in 2 pack. got to your local paint retailer and ask. most tractor parts joints will be able to supply it too.

You need to ask for 'Caterpillar Highway Yellow', not 'Old Cat Yellow', they are different colour, the latter has more orange in it and not as bright a yellow as Highway Yellow.
