Had my pony start, run, and die, took me a minute to find the problem - broken spring. Check your governor spring. I didn't have a new one, but I did have some wire.... Got me going.

Have to work the lever on one of mine when having trouble getting a pony running. Should take it apart and oil the parts inside one of these days. The spring is okay though.

Some instruction I have seen recomends removing a screw from the face of the pulley and filling with engine oil every so often. Don't ask me how to get to it, probably why it seldom happens. cheers WF

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
