Can anyone tell me if the flywheel is marked TDC on a Holt 10 ton? I'm getting ready to mount a mag on it and I'm not seeing anything stamped on it. I don't have a book and thought maybe they might show a picture of it in the manual.
Thanks
Tom

Take out no 1 spark plug turn engine over and put thumb over the plug hole and when you feel some air pressure building take a long rod and put on top of piston and continue turning until just past top center then turn the mag until the rotor is at the position to have just passed the number one plug wire. Put the rest of wires in the cap according to firing order and it should run. Then you may have to adjust to suit as for fine tuning. Good luck Ron

There are marks on the flywheel. There is a cast pointer that is attached to the block and just about touches the back of the flywheel. If there is years of grease, grime and paint the marks will be difficult to read.
