Hi All: Its been awhile since I have posted. Thought I would put up some pictures of the old 5T pushing snow. I cleaned #1 injector, it runs a whole lot better now. After 3 years of pushing snow with it, the cable blade and I are starting to get along. There is a guy at work that keeps hassling me to sell it to him. I keep telling him it is worth more to me to push snow with than its worth. I am going to have to get in touch with OldMagnet and get the plans to convert a D4 to electric start. I converted 3 D2's to electric start, all three of them work great. I am thinking this spring I am going to rebuild the pony carb and give her a Dupont overhaul. But all in all, not to bad for a $100 Cat.

It's funny how you don't realize someone's missing until they pop up again. Thanks for posting the pictures. That is a pretty tidy looking D4. I would never have beleived you bough that machine for so little. It IS worth a whole lot more. Don't forget to put a price on your enjoyment. Could you get the bigger bucks? Maybe if the fellow at work wants to buy the same kind of enjoyment. the bigger question, Would you want to?
