G'day All. I use my D7D, that I bought at Peter Squires sale, every now an again to pull an offset disc to work back some land that has been delved, this particular paddock had been delved and cropped last season an is now going to pasture. I know how you all like pictures so here are a few taken today. The old girl does need a bit of attention, a cracked exhaust manifold and shot undercarriage at the top of the list. Have a post in wanted. D349, That offset disk is doing a great job. I am wondering about the really old CCU and overhead rack on a Cat 17A. You state that you bought it at an auction, but wondered if you know the history.

Thanks,
D6 Bo

Looks good Kevin, and that disk really is doing a good job. Does it have a different turbo than standard? I'm looking at the hood modifications.
What's your tractor serial #, what's the model of the LeTourneau CCU, and the serial # of the hydraulic control?

Mike. Thanks
D6 Bo. Le tourneau control and overhead rack , I do not have a blade. It has a hydraulic control and was used to pull a blade plough which were used in the 60s and 70s to bring up the mallee stumps after chaining and burning the scrub in land clearing in the upper south east of South Australia.
Neil. When they changed the D7 to turbo it seems they just modified the bonnet with a bulge to fit as standard. 17A16166.
Bruce P. They do have a nice sound.
Regards Kevin

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
