I mean with all the knowledge here I ask a question NO ONE could answer? The Holt 75 question? Shouldn't I get a prize or something??

No---you shouldn't get a prize for being so sarcastic!

You should get more compliments for answering an useful question that is a good future reference.

Hi oldtanker,
in my literature for the Holt 75 none of it has the tractor dimension specs. Google is not helpful either--as you no doubt found already.
I have specs. for the Best 75 but that is useless to you I know.

I have photo copies of both the Parts Book and the Operation and Care Book that neither have the specs. in for the shipping dimensions at all.
Hope someone can measure an actual machine for you soon.

Cheers from a Fellow Vietnam Vet.

I ran across several references to the Holt 75 weight being in the 23 to 24K lbs range, like this:

http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/005/2/0/5205-holt-75.html

Nothing about dimensions, you may have to measure one.
I checked a couple Holt 75 Parts and Care and Operation books, no data in them, but none of the old manuals seem to have the data, not until later did they include that in the parts catalogs, maybe the sales catalogs?

If these models are accurate to scale, you could extrapolate the dimensions from that.

If you ever find the dimensions Rick, please share them with the rest of us.

I'm sure one could contact the museum for any measurements you're looking for.

The unit this model seems to be based on was at (I'm sure) Santa Margarita this year and will be in the Pioneer Days Parade the second SAT in OCT in Paso Robles. Some of the Pioneer Days members should be able to measure it for you.

If not maybe three months from now I could measure it for you (It's about 165 miles from here.).

Sorry, I was surprised that no one seemed to know so I was making a joke about it.

YEa kinda what I had found but I didn't know about the model. Thanks.

Roger if I find that info I will share it. From the specs on that model it's 18.5 feet long, 10 wide and 12 high.

Small followup.

If that is indeed 1:24 scale that's one huge tractor. 18.5' long, 10 wide and 12 high if my math is correct.

I have another measurement to go by for a different scale and that makes it 14.95' long, 6.9 wide and 8.376 tall.

I did write the museum and am waiting to hear back.

Rick,

You might try contacting the Cal-Ag Museum in Woodland CA to see if they could measure one of their's that are on display. There is also one at Tulare in the museum there.
