Is there much of a difference between the pony motors on a d47u and a d42t? I wouldn't think they would have changed much. Is there a model number on the motors? And if so where should I look?

No model number just part numbers making it up for the application , the main difference is the top manifold how the water outlet connects to the main engine , block and internals mostly same ... hope that helps...

Yes thanks. I am hoping to use the gas tank off the 7U for the 2T. Also, it would be nice to be able to save the other one for spares.
