Should the hood read, “CATERPILLAR” or Caterpillar Diesel”? I have seen lots of photos. Just would like to know what is correct. Thanks

Should be "Caterpillar Diesel" on hood sides and rear of seat.

Another from 9-53
And last D2's 1957

ACMOC should send a copy of the tractor spec sheet with there decal sets so the owners can correctly install them, I see so many place them incorrectly.

I am still a bit confused. The third photo with the blade options is different from the first two. Thanks Don

Caterpillar and D2 on the hood was on 1957 tractors, not previous. Your tractor would have the first two pictured decals.

Thanks. I am a distance away from repainting. Paint job is probably 30 years old and the decals are not as you explained. Not a rust bucket, but paint is about average. Will post some photos when we finish with some repairs. Appreciate your reply
