what are the proper adjustment procedure for adjusting the steering clutch's and brakes?

So the owner already had a new used idler for the 8, but its not the same one, the one off the machine is a 8f-1978, the new one is a 9h7521, the new one doesnt have the same mounting blocks on the side, also there are no grease fittings, is this one oil filled and sealed? Can the mounting blocks be removed and swapped?

I am't sure but should't have the same shaft and bearing should't fitt on

Any ideas? Do the blocks just press off? I may try and find a press to use if nothing else

The block bearing 8f1978 should be just press on shaft

Good to know! So knowing that info, im going to try and get the block off probably friday and get them swapped over

The old block was cracked so i just made the new one work, would anyone be willing to tell me how to adjust steering clutches and steering brakes as well as the main clutch on both the 7&8?
