And thats about all...this will be a ongoing project for a long time. I have 3 grandsons all interested at least somewhat , the 2 youngest ones the most, both want to be grandpa's dozer boy...afraid I gave them the fever already..
Now i have a #6 that i am using for parts , from the 2 of them might just be able to make 1 good one.
love all the info I get on here just reading the posts ,I should be able to fix this old junker up..

Les, do the boys help you work on it or you doing all the manual labor by yourself?

That blade looks like something off a modern high track push Cat. Any idea what it came off?

as my son is a wrench also.more than i am, mostly trucks and cars , loves cat powered Petes ..and the 2 young guys ages 3 and 6 are always around with me.
that blade is around the same vintage as the D6 I found a old Balderson add talking about it ,easy to load and haul ,no overwidth ,it's 8'2' to the outside cutting edges. now if i can get it shined up...
we sure are having fun!!
