you should look out for the sickness that sometimes follow a new caterpillar arrival. the symptoms are to spend money and time in the need to restore and care for the new addition. the only treatment is to join the club and post many pictures, ask many questions to the others who share this affliction. i am afraid there isn't a cure for this but the treatment mentioned can help manage the symptoms.

D46U straight blade,D46U cat angle blade,allis chalmers AD4 grader and Khoering 404 dragline. D4C 40A,D4 2T and scraper.

Just the normal 1950's Cat issues. Pony motors being a bit finicky. Brakes and steering clutches that need to be kept in adjustment.

Not to be insulting, but what do you know the operation of that vintage machine. The brakes and steering clutch have no connectivity. You release the steering clutch then apply brake to make shorter turns.

Good luck. When in drought ask the answers are here.

You will need booster shots from time to time but they do little good to alleviate the urge.

The one I’m getting is supposed to be a 1957 model it has a cable blade double winch and is supposed to have an oil clutch. But it’s rained where it is so to wet to get it yet
