Not sure, maybe mount for another cylinder for added rear attachment.

I need a picture with the more of the push arm to confirm my guess, and with what I can see I could be headed the wrong way.

Garwood dozers had pivot point real close to the trunnion in the push arm. There is screw that spanned the pivot, the farther the arm is from straight would raise that corner of the blade as a tilt for the blade. Sorry no picture and not very good at explaining it all.

Short answer part of a tilt for your blade. But the picture does not take in enough arm to confirm, so a guess only.

A picture has turned up in the topic Mary Ann and Loretta yesterday (10/9/18 for as long as they last). The blade tilting is shown on the AC HD 15 that is picture on the low bed. The screw adjuster just ahead of the trunnion on the push arm. (sorry links are above my current ability)

I was always surprised how much tilt you could get from that adjustment.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
