Thanks OM, Is the fuel filter a sock type? I have not had one apart before but had been told it was sock type. Do you have wix numbers handy. The wix site only showed the oil filter. What engine does this machine have? My first experience with yellow iron and all the model numbers are a bit confusing. Thanks and yes I live in Los Osos (Baywood Park) Jim.

Yes, I noticed that also....I wonder if Wix/Napa is getting rid of the fuel filter production for that item. Yes, they are the sock type.
There must still be some in the system Wix #33164 (NAPA 3164)
Oil filter Wix #51161 (NAPA 1161)
Engine is D315

The NAPA/WIX filter is a single filter so you purchase however many you need for your tractor and reuse or make new gaskets if needed. CAT would have a set of filters and the gaskets for the filter plate under one part number as a filter service assembly.

firekat says Baldwin F919-C is the same single filter as the 13164/3164. I thought they had a kit like CAT with all the filters and gaskets in it, but I don't know what the number is for your tractor.

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

ccjersey,

Baldwin did have a kit. It was F919-C4. Came with 4 filters and 2 gaskets. Baldwin chose to discontinue it about 1 or 2 years ago. I still have some kits. WIX also had the same kit, but it has been gone much longer. They also had a kit that had 6 filters.

John

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
