Hello everyone,
I am trying to determine if the 4 roller and 5 roller D4-7U use the same track frame / trunion bolt pattern spacing. Also, do D4C or D4D utilize the same bolt pattern? I recently acquired a set of tool bar trunions from a D4C, to add to my 5 roller 7U, however the bolt spacing seems different, with either the front 4 holes lining up, or the rear 4. Essentially the trunion plate seems to need about 1” of additional material between the front 4 and rear 4 holes….
Thanks much,
Breadler

This is interesting. TractorDon sold me a really nice TB setup from a 5 roller 7U and it bolted directly to my D4C without any modifications required (per my favorite wrench person). One would assume that they would all bolt up okay, however I have seen some guys put what appears to be 1” to 1.5” spacer between the trunnion and track frame on some machines.
Perhaps time to bring out the magnetic drill and tap set.
