Tried to start my D4 serial number 5T61 but she doesn't have any fuel pressure I hope CAT has the filters part number 7B8264 or is there any other source? TY and Best Regards MJM

EZ
I remember when the fuel filters were dirt cheap and now one has to mortgage the tractor to pay for the filters!!!
Cats Forever
I searched that number on CAT parts and it looks like the part numbers have updated:
2A-5886 Filter - $15.63
7B-7635 Gasket - $4.71
It might be a good time to be thinking of installing an external primary (spin on?) filter. Be good to start with new internal filters.
8c most would their machine original. Including me
I put one of these fuel filters on my D4 a couple years ago.
This keeps the junk from the tank from clogging up the lift pump.
side-seat - That is a useful setup that is tastefully done. Good work!!
Hello Thanks for all the input filters and gaskets are on the way from CAT I'll let everybody know how it works. TY and Best Regards MJM
Picked up the 4 filters and gaskets from Cat today. In the service manual there are 2 strainers that need to be serviced but there isn't any part numbers for the stainers or the gaskets in my books or in my local CAT dealers data base and microfiche. Anybody have any ideas other than make new gaskets and clean strainers? TY and Best Regards MJM
