D4 7U fan belt

I bought a new fan belt from cat, I figured might as well change it since everything was tore apart...........well the belt says 1 1/16 wide x 50" long.......it will not fit........it is to short by like an inch.......part number is 4F7956....Is this the correct belt?

Depends on what pump pulley set up you have with your mix and match.
I don't have the belt dimensions but 7U prior to sr. # 27284 has different fan hub and ring (uses the 4F7956 belt) then the later ring and hub that uses the 5H4239 belt.

Does anyone know of a non-CAT source for the 4F7956 fan belt used on a D4-7U prior to s/n 27284?

if you search that part number on parts.cat you might find the info
