Could someone give me information on d339 heads , looking at a D7E 48A 9757, with a cracked head, my question is will a D7 17A 14000(+-) work. I have no part number.

I do not know 48A serial numbers, If it’s a low horse I think it might work the manifolds clamp on like a 3T-17A I think. I have a late 75E same as 48A the manifolds bolt directly to the heads

I seem to recall the 17A and 48A heads are not interchangeable. Although they are the same 339 model the engine was all new for the 48A series.
