I fired it up today and re-bled the diesel system, drove it around for a couple of hours and pushed some dirt around, and pushed against an immoveable object.
My left steering clutch is still stuck. I have little hope for it, as when i went to adjust the thing last week I found that the adjusters were set beyond the normal range, the wrench flats were actually inside the split nut of the arm. I set them as far as possible but the left arm actually touches the inboard edge of the casing, so I guess that's all I can do.
Does anyone have the part numbers for the clutch plates so i can shop them? has anyone had luck replacing the plates without removing the outer cage from the outer housing for alignment before assembly?
Thanks.

Before you order parts consider the thrust bearing, either way you have to tear it down for inspection, one of the parts D2s that I scraped only had 3 rollers left in the thrust bearing when I opened it up

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
