My Form 30441 doesn't show any bolt or nut torques that I could find - just the sprocket pressing-on pressure at 15t, which folks here caution to only use 10t as the sprocket can split (I think I have that right on this tractor). For nuts and bolts, I understand the approach is just to use the standard tightening torque for the fastener size. There is a post on here somewhere that shows the torque for each size. The book does say to heat the steering clutch hub when it is fitted to the shaft and tap it on. The heat will expand it some so it fits tighter when the temps equalize.
Thanks Neil,
What does the chassis book have in it, any usable information ?
It's the serviceman's reference book, so it provides procedure for dis/assembly. You can find one on eBay frequently - usually go for 30-50 clams. There's also the parts catalog, which is self-explanatory, and the operator's manual too. If you get all three that cover your serial #, those, combined with the accumulated knowledge here on the forum will enable you to fix anything on that tractor.
