I need some help on capacities. All my literature does not have the capacities of the crankcase oil in the Diesel, and the starting engine. Even though the dip stick on the starter engine was at the full level, there was hardly any oil in it when drained. Thanks for any information.

Check to see if the drain tube on the pony is plugged. If they sit for years or are poorly maintained it will sludge/plug up. I usually poke a long wire up there to free it all up.

Pony takes 1 quart and should be serviced often as they don't have a filter and since it only holds a quart it's cheap insurance.

Thanks jstandle, good idea about running a wire up the drain tube. I was amazed at how much came out when I took the plug out. I knew it took more but wasn't sure how much.
