Ive been fixing up my d2 3j for over a year and a half now and almost done but I am having a few issue before everything is back together. The dash board light has a cover over it and mine is cracked any idea for where to get another one? Also the lights on the front one of them has a huge crack across the whole lens where might they sell one that looks the same? Down below is a picture of both. Lastly I took off the hydraulic pump to reseal a lot of things and wonder what oil I should be using for a Cat number 44 hydraulic pump serial number 4W826. Thanks!

you can use a iso 68 hydrualic oil. or do what i do and use caltex(chevron) textrans tdh it a universal tractor transmission hydraulics and diff oil for use in all sorts of tractors. it was the factory fill for caseih austoft cane harvesters and in field transporters. it also goes in the transmission.

delo gold 15w40 in the engine

use delo torqfluid 30 or torqfluid 50 in the final drives depending on operating environment in warmer climates use 50 in colder climate use 30

if you contact the lube advice service for your chosen oil company they will give you a recommendation.

cant help with the dash light cover. but try any of the tractor or truck parts joints take the old light with you these would have been a sealed beam style. you could also try napa auto parts. or rare spares

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
