The harmonic balancer  has separated  on my D-6 5R, and of course they are no longer avaiable.
Is there anyone who can rebuild them?

There are places that rebuild them as I had one rebuilt on a Studebaker Hawk. Any idea what it weighs as the one on the Hawk was only about 15 pounds.

I have found two businesses that will repair my harmonic balancer. Both in California, where I'm at.
They are the Damperdudes @ 1-800-413-2673 located in Anderson, Calif and
Damper Doctors @1-530-246-2984 located in Redding, Calif.

I believe it was Damper Doctors that did mine as the name sounds familiar. Did a good job and the damper was all cleaned up like a new one when they sent it back after the rebuild.

Good to hear that. They said bring in over without hesitation. The other business said they were doing mostly automotive dampers.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
