While on a recent visit to a small Tobacco plantation in Cuba . I was surprised to trip over these parts.
If not Caterpillar they are a direct copy.
My guess is a RD7 . No trace of the rest of the machine.
Any one else have thoughts on origin.
The drum for the PCU is unusual to me .

There would have been exports to Cuba before the shutdown so just like those old '50s cars they have, they probably also have old US trucks and tractors too. Then, since they were working with the USSR, they could have also received the Russian clones like the 3T and such. Be interesting to do a full reconnoitre to see what's there.
