While on a recent visit to a small Tobacco plantation in Cuba . I was surprised to trip over these parts.
If not Caterpillar they are a direct copy.
My guess is a RD7 . No trace of the rest of the machine.
Any one else have thoughts on origin.
The drum for the PCU is unusual to me .

There would have been exports to Cuba before the shutdown so just like those old '50s cars they have, they probably also have old US trucks and tractors too. Then, since they were working with the USSR, they could have also received the Russian clones like the 3T and such. Be interesting to do a full reconnoitre to see what's there.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
