Found a video of a almost complete Best Steam Tractor see here advance to 1:00 to see sooner... this is now what is know as old Dinah at Furnace Creek. It's amazing to see what it originally looked like so clearly, versus what it looks like now.

Hi Andrew, there's a write-up on wikipedia. Looks like the town was only really operational for a few years around 1905-ish and then everyone moved away when the mine played out the first time.
