I seem to remember reading somewhere (giving myself lots of outs here) that ERTL had planned to continue the series with a 631 scraper, and one other piece of construction equipment.

I am thinking that it was in Fine Scale Modeler many years ago.

Hi Razz,
she's looking really sweet and further advanced than my AMT 1/25 scale D8H and Lowboy kit I started on about 40 odd years ago.
Also have the AMT Autocar Truck to go with it--not yet started.
Family and 2 Ton came along and the rest is history. They're now covered in dust on top of the book case.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Art; They did make a John Deere TLB. I would have liked to see more of these type machines but I'd bet there was license issues with CAT...

hey razz,

Take a look at Bill Glenn's dozer blade. This is from way back in 2003. His daughter painted the blade but it sure looks real.

PS. I forgot to add that his is a real Cat BUT do remember that your model is simply great!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
