Thank you Kurt for bringing the show to those of us that are unable to attend. Great Shots! The Gasoline Forty looks like it just rolled of the showroom floor, well done restoration work. The Twenty-Two with the Chrome Exhaust and "Genuine Caterpillar rain cap" is overshadowed by the excellent craftsmanship in that cab. -- cts
Very nice. I will probably regret not going, but duty calls here. Thankful for lots of folks that are attending and sharing cool photos.
Can't wait to see plenty of glossy photos in future magazines! Thx, JM
Appreciate the photos - they allow all of us to capture a bit of insight into the show and exhibited machines. I can not help but notice the "special exhaust caps", one on the Twenty-Two with the excellent woodworking craftsmanship and the other on the RD-8. (patent pending?) Am I also noticing a split front idler on the RD-8? The spokes do not look like they are centered in the idler. When did Caterpillar stop the split idler? (quite the shop facility with the multiple overhead travelling hoists (cranes)) - cts
