Here is what greeted attendees ( old and new) this past weekend at the California Antique Equipment Show in Tulare, Ca. We were graced with a rare appearance by the Ghiollti Family’s D8 “ Mary Ann”. Great weather added to the weekend, where many Caterpillar pieces of equipment got to play in the Dig Area ( Big Boy sand box).
Can’t wait to see more! Wish I could have been there…
Mr. 'Tater, you missed out! I believe everyone had a fantastic time. LOTS more activity this year compared to last year by far. The "Dig" was filled just right, with plenty of equipment and everyone worked in harmony. There were plenty of spectators sitting back and enjoying the sights and sounds too; all in all it is one for the books...
I am hoping some may share their photos with the peeps on this channel. As usual, I did not have much opportunity to take any.
Big THANK YOU's to everyone that attended, and I am indebted to the folks that volunteered with our tight knit group (you know who you are, especially Steeltracs) that made this an overwhelming success.
See you at the next show. JM
A little teaser.
JM, Nice fleet there including the white /silver ones
Four truck loads of equipment taken to the show, no that’s a serious commitment to our hobby . Thanks Gee ! Hats off to Doug Veerkamp and Greg and Eric Shandel among many others that brought multiple semi loads of equipment to Tulare for this year’s show.
Some from the Veerkamp gang.
Gettin’ the squeeze on Juiceman. Doing my duty as a leader…take me to the CATs she said! (Robert and Melissa Shaver’s daughter for those wondering).
