I have been told that you can still obtain steering lever black handles that screw onto the levers
Has anyone out there got a part number for one ?

Becareful of cracked ones. They can break off in your hand, and you can get stabbed with the rusty point inside. When in doubt, replace. Dandy Dave!

I found a hard wood rod in the workshop exactly the same diameter as the handles,I chipped off the remains of the cracked handle to expose the metal spike.Drilled out and shaped the wood.Fitted it and painted it.Pleased with the result.
