My PV 15 had a lot of engine sag in the front before I tore it down for a complete rebuild. I have noticed other PV 15 s that had similar issues. It seems the leaf spring under the engine needs to be re- arched. Anyone know what the specs of the leaf spring should be? I will probably end up taking the springs to a leaf spring shop to get re-arched. At this point I would only be guessing how much arch the spring needs. Any advice? I suppose I could put the engine back in and shim the spring till the tractor is level then use this measurement to get the spring re-arched. It would be nice to have the print or a known good measurement to go off of.

Thanks

Joe

i put where the spring is in the track cradle a half inch thick piece of strip under the spring( machine looks now horizontal too on the side view), and made a new bushing around the bolt on top of the spring which is holding it so all lack is out of it.
