If they are the old Anchor clam shell two bolt style then just unbolt and do your best to remove the old hose/concrete hard without ruining the barbs. Re-assemble with new hose. Did Cat ever use the re-usable screw on fittings? , Got a pic? No telling what is on an old machine after so many years.

I've found the most painless way is heat and burn the outer of the braid the get the wire glowing
and pry and pull it of the barb , or very carefully grind thru the wire without touching the barb , I prefer the heat way , can't beat the smell of burning rubber :flame:
