Who would weld the rock guards and rollers to the track frame. I just bought this really nice and clean fire dozer. Pulled the belly pan to look around and clean it up and noticed that all this stuff is welded up. I guess bolts aren’t good enough.

Some people should not be allowed to own a bulldozer and a welding machine, at least not at the same time! I have welded some undercarriage parts temporarily in a pinch, maybe the previous owner just did it so the tractor could be sold. It looks like he made the right decision.
Sorry 'bout that,
Craig

That's pretty common on a woods cat.Around here almost all tracked machines have the rock guards, rollers and sprocket segments welded.

Well it’s a woods cat. Winch and all. It’s welded up both sides. Rollers and guards. It’s in really good shape seams like. Gonna pull all the plugs and make sure there’s oil in all them rollers that’s for sure.
