Anyone knows how much a Cat d6 9u hydraulic blade weighs? I’m guessing it weighs at least a ton

I don't know about a D6 but a D7 blade weights 5000 lbs. I would guess a D6 is around 3000 lbs.

An angle blade maybe.

My poor little farm loader tractor is maxed out at less than a ton, my guess is 1600 to 1700 pounds. I have lifted my Cat straight blade onto my flatbed truck. That does include a tilt cylinder. The tractor handled the weight well, just had to watch the push arms.

So my guess is 1500 to 1700 pounds for the Cat 6s from 9u era.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
