i have a cat 930 loader without a serial number plate. is there another location were a serial number might be stamped. Also wondering if there are any gray wavy cat logo hats available.

Hi, jdtwocyl.

(I had to copy-n-paste that name to make sure I got it right.) There should be a serial number stamped into the metal under where the S/N plate was originally installed. Also. if you can find the engine S/N and Arrangement numbers, a Cat dealer should be able to back-track it to find it what frame # it went into.

Somebody else here who has had more to do with 930s might have more info for you.
