This a new tractor for me so I don't know if this is a new or old problem.

When attempting to start with the choke engaged, gas starts to drip out of the carb and it floods. I've cleaned the needle valve on the carb and now I'm wondering if the float needs to be adjusted. Does anybody have the specifications on how the float should be adjusted on a Zenith carb?

Thanks,

Larry

Larry,
I recall seeing a thread here on that subject. Just do a search on "carb adjustment" and you should find it.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
