A friend of mine is looking at a 214B wheeled excavator that has sat for a long time and the brakes are stuck to the drums and it will not move. Does any one have any idea on how hard this would be to fix or have a part diagram of the brakes.

If you can get to the shoes without taking the drum off just hit the shoes with a hammer. That usually works.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
