LAST DAY - MARCH 30, 2025
Time is running out. Last chance to see everything at Woodland, CA.
Items might be relocating as we type. JM
Hi, Juiceman and CTS.
Do they have an new home in mind yet? I have wandered through that museum several times, both before and after it was opened up when all the interior walls were removed to improve the visitor experience, even went to a show dinner there for the BSOT in 2008.
WELL worth a visit if you have any interest in machinery or mechanics.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
The wife and I made it down there on Sunday, just over a week ago. We had been wanting to check it out for quite some time, and very glad we did. We made a day of it and met some friends who had actually told us about it years ago, and wanted to re-visit.
What an impressive collection of unique and special machinery! The thought of moving it all is overwhelming! Sounds like they’re looking into the possibility of building a new building for the collection at the Fairgrounds. But nothing certain yet. We were informed that wherever it lands, it’ll be a few years. Again, so glad we didn’t miss out on seeing the collection before the museum closes!
Hi, Folks.
If you have any appreciation at all of museums, yer HAFTA take yer hat off to the people who got it to the stage where it is now. I know some of them and they are just plain and simple GREAT people. HATZOFF to Doug Veerkamp and the rest of the team for an outstanding job.
Pity it all has to move but it will hopefully live again in all its former glory inna more permanent home.

I’m curious as to why it has to move? Assuming it’s a g go financial thing?
