brake band adjusment d46U with winch

My brake bands need to be adjusted and i have a Hyster D4 winch. do i need to take the seat assembly off or can i just remove the toolbox under the seat to access the adjustment? any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

remove the tool box and you will see a plate that covers clutch and brake--there is an extended bolt that adjusts the brake band--if i remember right it is 9/16[attachment=44021]DSC00145.JPG[/attachment]
