When I bought my RD4 the old man gave me a main frame with blade and the trunions. However, I’ve determined it’s for a John Deere 440. With some fabricating I’m sure I could make it work but I was wondering if anyone else has gone down this road. Would I be better off selling this one and buying one that fits?

I think so. There is a guy due north of you in Ga that deals in JD. Try" Farmer john parts "on facebook. Sell it and buy what you need.

Hi FLDrew91
Hi have a blade setup off my RD4 narrow gauge it is made by British Starndard, but i think the shipping from downunder to over the pond would cost a bit (lol).

Regards

Rax200- would you post a pic for me? I’m still a greenhorn and would like to see another example of what would fit my tractor.

Would a blade from a newer series D4 fit my RD or should I look for a specific setup?
