You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Hi, Folks.
Personally, I have much better and more useful things to do with my time than hang out on Fa(r)cebook, Twitter, et al.. Anybody who IS interested is welcome to my share of them.
Just my 0.02.
The good thing about FB or Twitter is it's ease of use for smart phones. Also, moby tags will be in use for those who don't want to carry the laptop around during the event. We do have a "lite" version of the forum that eases use on a smart phone, but the Conexpo event will be interactive.
I can't help but wonder. Is the members' money spent to send all the ACMOC guys/gals to these events?

Deas, maybe we differ on the Ford thing a little, but I'm with ya 100% on this one...
You have a wonderful day too-
Ron in CO...
The link has been fixed for those interested in seeing what's happening at the show while we are there. As stated above, we are using Facebook as it's a means of getting info and images to you all quickly. I won't be able to post to the BB from the show floor but can easily take photos with my phone and get them up on Facebook.
By using Facebook and Twitter (which I still am trying to figure out) we can also directly communicate with the patrons at ConExpo who have downloaded the smartphone app. It's free publicity for the club and will hopefully help us get our name out to others who share the same passion for restoring and collecting antique machinery that our club members and forum users do.
What is Facebook and Twitter????????
When I retired I properly disposed of my "Cell Phone", "Pager", and "Blackberry" overboard while fishing the Gulf.
If someone wants to contact me they can leave a message on my home phone, or send me an E-mail, I check them once a week if I get around to it. Otherwise I will be fishing or be elbow deep in a YELLER engine/trans.
